As per the United States Coast Guard, the Nassau County Bridge Authority is authorized to temporarily suspend bridge openings to conduct emergent electrical and mechanical repairs.
Under this temporary deviation, the Atlantic Beach Bridge need not open for the passage of vessals until further notice.
